Research fields: Astrophysical processes around black holes, X-ray spectroscopy of active galactic nuclei and microquasars, development of general relativistic models for spectral fitting package XSPEC. 1998 graduated in Theoretical Physics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University, Prague. 2000-2001 worked as a teacher of physics at English-Slovak Bilingual Grammar School in Sučany, Slovak republic. Since 2003 at the Astronomical Institute. 2004 PhD in Astrophysics at Charles University.
