Research fields: Satellite dynamics, orbit determination from
observations, gravity field of the Earth, orbital resonances,
navigation for applied satellites, satellite (crossover) altimetry.
1971 graduated in Space Geodesy from the Czech Technical University,
Prague. 1979 PhD in Astronomy. 1996 DSc in Astronomy. 2000 Associate
Professor, senior lecture of Geodesy, CTU Prague. Researcher at the
Astronomical Institute. Several stays in Germany, USA, and other
countries. About 119 research papers, at least 154 references in
foreign periodicals.
